What benefits are available to survivors?

Many agencies of the federal and state governments are offering benefits and relief to victims of the Sept. 11 attacks. Visit the agency site to find more information on applying.
  • FEMA
    Residents and businesses affected by the attacks can apply for federal assistance by calling (800) 462-9029, or (800) 462-7585 (TTY) for the hearing and speech impaired.

  • NYC.gov - 9/11 NYC Services Center
    Employment, counseling and other services for victims and family members.

  • Department of Education
    People living in affected areas are eligible for student loan relief.

  • Office of Victims of Crime
    This Justice Department agency has information on mental health counseling and more.
