FINCA provides financial services to low-income individuals to help them create productive businesses. Using principles of microfinance and village banking, FINCA supports self-employment with small loans, savings plans, insurance, payment transfers and services in small increments. Programs exist in war-torn and disease stricken areas in Latin America, Eurasia and the Middle East. Additionally, the group focuses on helping women, as they are usually poorest and have the least access to credit.
