Fisher House Foundation
Fisher House Foundation donates "comfort homes" on the grounds of military and Veterans Association medical facilities where families can be close to military members during their hospitalization. Families stay for free at the Fisher Houses, with a common kitchen, laundry facilities, a dining room and living room at their disposal. The organization also supports Scholarships for Military Children, Hero Miles and CaringBridge, which creates customized web pages for each patient so family can monitor their progress.
