International Medical Corps
The volunteer doctors and nurses that make up the International Medical Corps seek to improve quality of life through medical assistance. By training local populations and offering emergency services, IMC volunteers seek to build up health care systems and make them self-reliant. The group works with existing infrastructure to implement programs in areas hit by war and disaster during the time of crisis.
